The big ones, at a glance
Outside Germany, three festivals claim to be the largest after Munich, each with roughly 700,000+ visitors a year: Blumenau (Brazil), Oktoberfest Zinzinnati in Cincinnati, and Kitchener-Waterloo (Canada). Denver reports 450,000+. Within Germany, Stuttgart's Cannstatter Volksfest and Hannover's Oktoberfest (about 1 million visitors) are among the largest. Qingdao's beer festival in China draws millions. In Florida, German-American clubs in Cape Coral, Miami, Lake Worth, Casselberry and Pinellas Park run long-standing club Oktoberfests.
